The RD exam is divided into five domains:
- Food and Nutrition
- Nutrition Services, Community/Clinical
- Education & Research
- Food Service Systems
- Management

The RD exam is computerized in format. As an examinee you are given a minimum of 125 questions.
Of these 100 questions are graded and 25 are non-graded questions that may be used for future exams. A maximum of 145 questions are given.
Questions do not appear in domain content order - questions are intermixed.
You will receive your score report immediately after completing the exam.
